The Danish-French conceptual artist Thierry Geoffroy/ COLONEL will present artwork related to the awareness muscle *.
During the evening there will be a possibility to see a selection of a new neon art series produced in collaboration with sygns and based on the artist’s characteristic handwritten statements about awareness. We will also exhibit other artworks produced as artist’s ultracontemporary expressions on what is happening in our society at the moment.
Program for the evening:
- Welcome by Susanne Justesen, owner INNOVERSITY COPENHAGEN
- Interactive artist talk by Thierry Geoffroy/COLONEL focusing on training of the awareness muscle and being in the now.
- Introduction about Thierry Geoffroy’s artistic praxis by curator Tijana Miskovic
All the artworks will be for sale during the evening.
Wine and light snacks will be served.
* the awareness muscle was created by Thierry Geoffroy in 2002. Like the memory, the awareness muscle has to be trained every day. Through his artistic praxis the artist has developed art formats for training of awareness muscle.

Thierry Geoffroy, also known as COLONEL, is a Danish-French artist, livingin Copenhagen, Denmark. He is a conceptual artist using a wide variety of media including video and installation, often collaborating with other artists. COLONEL has published 6 books and his work also includes regular conference activities in different countries. Since 2002, he is Chevalier de l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres.
