This art salon is organized in collaboration with COPENHAGEN ULTRACONTEMPORARY BIENNALE, a new biennial focusing on the artistic capacity to express in “the now”.
All exhibited artworks are by Danish-French conceptual artist Thierry Geoffroy / COLONEL; Some are new productions being presented to the audience for the first time, while others have been shown
at museums such as P.S.1/MOMA New York, Sprengel Museum Hannover, ZKM Museum Karlsruhe, Moderna Museet Stockholm, HEART- Herning Museum of Contemporary Art Denmark, The National Museum of Photography in Copenhagen and Kunsthallen Brandts.
During the evening, there will be presentations of exhibited artworks and the concept of COPENHAGEN ULTRACONTEMPORARY BIENNALE by curator Tijana Miskovic and artist Thierry Geoffroy / COLONEL.
This informal salon program also includes related art performance and talks by prominent figures from the art world as well as live music by Morten Grønvad and his musician friends. Light snacks and wine will be served.

Nadia Plesner, artist and writer will read a fragment from her recently published book “The Simple Living” about her legal case with Louis Vuitton and fight to rise money in order to draw attention to the situation in Darfur.
Nadia has been participating in several editions of EMEGENCY ROOM - an every day changing art format developed by Thierry Geoffroy for artists burning with desire to engage in the current debate. Nadia participated in among other places in New York: PS1 / MOMA and in Hanoi during the Royal Danish family state visit in Vietnam.
Clemens Bomsdorf will make a presentation about the interesting field between art and journalism. Clemens has worked as a Denmark correspondent for The Wall Street Journal and contributes now to The Art Newspaper, art – Das Kunstmagazin and other German as well as international media. He has for many years been writing about Thierry Geoffroy/ COLONEL.
